Did some research and spoke development on this. This error after the Connect command to Meditech Magic is something we’ve seen very sporadically over the years. And the fix has been what you described, reboot, problem goes away.
The error message in general has to do t.exe’s caption not being located quickly enough. Suggests that something was causing Meditech to be abnormally sluggish in some of its loading. Which hints towards something in general on the PC causing it. That’s probably why rebooting is the “universal” fix.
As for rebooting the computer periodically, BWS has a feature called the Boot Manager (search “Boot Manager” in the help for details) that be used to automatically reboot and bring applications back up.
One could also put in a trap for the error and retry the connect. I would be concerned about the overall “state” of the PC though if this error is happening consistently.
