Good to know that this may just be some settings and that there are successful virtual servers.

From your questions,
Are you leaving the server logged in? Yes. I actually even found instructions for a batch file to leave screen up (running command: tscon %sessionname% /dest:console)  and so not even leaving the screen locked as some scripts require screen visible to interact with the Boston script.
Are screen savers disabled?  Yes
Have you checked to be sure virus checking is not interferring?  Not sure on that one.
Are all power savers turned off? Yes
