Boston Software Systems has partnered with a pivotal rural healthcare provider organization in the Midwest to facilitate their EHR / EMR migration. The hospital has been in operation for over 100 years and is the sole provider of cardiac, emergency, obstetrics, surgery, nursing, urgent care, rehabilitation and other care for their immediate community and multiple surrounding counties. Based on being the center of care in a narrow access market, critical dependency on reliable EHR / EMR systems and other data performance in all sectors of healthcare, the organization has high confidence in Boston Software Systems to drive a smooth, comprehensive and quick transition to their new EHR / EMR platform.

For the initial data migration, over 170,000 records comprised of Discharge Summary, Imaging, Labor Discharge Summary, Medication Discharge Summary, Notes, Nursing Notes, Medical Reports, Patient Order Summary will be selected, organized, transferred and placed within their new EHR / EMR platform. Additional EHR / EMR, clinical, financial and other data will be migrated to complete the initiative including legacy platform decommissioning.
